Thursday I leave on my 4 day trip on the Pacific Crest Trail. Forecast, Rain, Rain, Clouds and Sun. Mt. Hood to Columbia River. 42 miles. Im traveling with my trek partner, Phil. We are bringing Bivy Sacks, no tents and a stove for boiling oatmeal, coffee, tea and Ramen. No campfires. Ultra Lite, no environmental footprint, the only way to go. Will follow with trip journal and photos on Monday.
